The client had 8 original Victorian sash windows across three floors of a mid-terrace in Notting Hill. The box frames were in poor condition throughout — several with significant rot to the sill and lower lining. Full replacement was the right decision.
The property is in the Pembridge conservation area. Slimline double glazing was specified and approved without the need for a full planning application. The client wanted a clean, bright finish — RAL 9010 applied to all windows before delivery.
