We take on commercial projects with the same approach as residential work — a personal survey, a detailed written quote, and a properly managed installation. For larger contracts, we can schedule work in phases to minimise disruption to occupants.
We have experience of working in occupied buildings — hotels, offices, and apartment blocks where residents or staff are present throughout. Dust sheeting and extraction are standard on every job regardless of setting.
For freeholders or managing agents responsible for all the windows in a period building, we provide a single contract covering every unit — with a phased programme where needed. A condition report across the whole building is a useful starting point for large contracts.
Period hotels across Kensington, Chelsea, and Westminster often have large numbers of original sash windows — many of which have been poorly maintained or replaced with inappropriate materials. We can assess, repair, and where necessary replace to a standard that fits the quality of the property.
Many commercial properties in London are listed or in conservation areas. Our experience of planning requirements in RBKC and Westminster is directly applicable to commercial projects — the same glazing and material requirements apply regardless of the use of the building.
