Kensington Sash (Windows) Ltd — timber sash window specialists, London.
A leasehold flat in a well-maintained Edwardian mansion block in Chelsea. The windows were mechanically worn — broken cords on four of the six, stiff pulleys, and significant draughts around the meeting rail and parting beads. The frames and sashes were otherwise in good condition.
Full overhaul was carried out across all six windows: new cords and weights throughout, pulley replacement where needed, Reddiseals draughtproofing fitted to all parting beads and frame heads, and replacement ironmongery in polished chrome to match the existing interior hardware. Conservation area — no glazing change proposed or required.
